Welcome to the SSB

The Swiss Society for Biomaterials (SSB) welcomes you to its home page. The SSB is the assembly of people in Switzerland working or interested in the field of biomaterials, be it on the industrial or the university level. Our Charter and Bylaws describe the goals of our Society. We welcome everybody interested in the wide field of biomaterials to join our Society and to participate in our meetings. The SSB is officially affiliated with the European Society for Biomaterials.

SSB2012 - 18th Swiss Conference in Biomaterials

The 2012 SSB Annual Meeting and General Assembly will take place at Uniklinik Balgrist, the orthopaedic university hospital in Zurich, on May 3, 2012. The topic of the meeting will be Biomaterials in Orthopaedic Surgery: From Bench to Bedside and back and will bring together biomaterial scientists with clinicians and clinical scientists. International keynote speakers will share the podium with biomaterials students and scientists from Switzerland.
